With the good tidings lined up in September... I will also be clearing the sale items I have... Stay tuned for the price slashings!!!
Hope everyone is geared up...

Last few weeks, I visited Hort park... an amazing place filled with endless display of plants... and they were having a carnival of sort with great bargains called Gardentech... There were these pots for sale that really caught my eyes...they were beautiful...I could imagine them on papers... They were perfectly grouped... The colours were so beautiful together.

Many things have been happening lately... I have been really busy... and feeling really Exhausted... I am however trying my best to give 100% in everything I do. But I remind myself, I am no superwoman. I can only do so much...

To add on, the possible closing of Vintage Flair past week had really got me down... but looks like we are keeping up the site after all... Its all about keeping it going past week...

I'm almost finished with my cards, for the fund raising event on the 29th at Ngee Ann City for the President Star Charity!
In most of the cards, what I did was create a layer by adding stamped images in the background before anything else. Here are some Inspirations to share of Butterflies and Vintage images.

Last weekend, my mother took me to a second hand shop, off Benoi Sector, tucked away in a little corner of a quiet street.
From first glance, you would think it's pretty run down and a little suspicious... but I found out that it was really worth a second look as there were some interesting finds... awaiting to inspire!

I finished a layout some weeks ago.
Below are parts to it.... what I did was, ink one of Tim Holtz's elements grungeboard swirls with 'black soot distressed ink', and added 'milled lavender distress stickles' on its edges...to give a fairly worn out look. I was also trying out 'crackled accents' from Inkessentials for the first time... onto my new collection of Provocraft dimensional ephemera...which did not
dry up cracking! Tip of the day from friends at Vintage Flair- Put a thicker coat on... (thanks Bree) ...

I also inked this papers and added 'vintage photo distress stickles' to highlight the image of the key...

I thought I should share this sweet little side bag my sister bought me not too long ago when she visited London on a business trip. I really love it...

And so it was a beautiful Saturday... bright and sunny... we were all set for a picnic at the Botanic gardens... I was really excited... and when we reached we got to know there was a little exhibition going on... it was on the Evolution theories proposed by Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace... I love the display so took some pictures of them...

We then went to find a good shady spot where we could enjoy our lunch and drink our yogurt drinks, rest and talk about life...  away from the bustling city... it had been quite some time since I had a Saturday out from home... I always felt Botanic Gardens is a magical place... something so beautiful about being around nature... among many...we caught a sight of a wood pecker... amazing... it really was a wood pecker... we caught it on video though...so no pictures for that... but there is a picture of a cute squirrel minding its own little business...
